It is a great piece of software to avoid eye strain when you spend a lot of time in front of a computer. It slowly adjusts your display to match with outside ambient light. then again, it's not really useful when in enclosed space without windows and constant light or when doing color sensitive work (eg. Photoshop, web design etc)
